PraizFest ’22 was a great time of fellowship and worship as over ninety students gathered at First Baptist Church in Benton on Friday night and Saturday, January 28 and 29. These students, who represent Arkansas Baptist churches from all across our state, combined their voices in a mass choir under the direction of Trent Blackley, Minister of Music and Worship from First Baptist Church of Rockwall, Texas. The students were challenged by the preaching of Eric Burton, Student Pastor at Cedar Heights Baptist Church as they prepared to lead a sweet time of worship in the Grand Finale on Saturday afternoon.
It was amazing to see the volunteers of the host church, the many adult sponsors from several Arkansas churches, and the talented orchestra under the direction of Tim Gunter, investing in the lives of these young leaders. We are looking forward to what the Lord does through the lives and ministries of these students in the coming days.
As Arkansas Baptists, we are constantly looking for creative ways to invest in the lives of students through equipping and discipleship. PraizFest has proven, once again, to be one of those creative and effective resources. Thank you for allowing your students to participate and thank you First Baptist, Benton for being such a gracious host church. We are looking forward to serving with each of you again soon.
