Camp Siloam to celebrate 100 years of ministry

Camp Siloam Executive Director Jason Wilkie is inviting Arkansas Baptists to celebrate 100 years of ministry.

“We want you and your congregation to come celebrate with us,’ Wilkie said in an email to pastors throughout the state. “… By celebrating with Camp Siloam you never know the Siloam stories God authored in lives of your congregation. You will experience the joy of hearing from some of your own people what God did at Camp Siloam years ago.”

The Centennial Celebration is set for Aug. 4-6 at Camp Siloam, 3600 S. Lincoln St., in Siloam Springs.

According to the Camp Siloam website, “the schedule is loose and light; designed for lots of free play, fun and fellowship.”  Saturday afternoon is reunion time for alumni staff members. Camp leaders, Don Cooper, Stephen Hatfield, Freddy Pike, Pat Batchelor, Scott Hodge, and Wilkie will be hosting receptions.

The weekend culminates with a 90-minute worship service on Saturday evening.
