LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) has a new podcast with a focus on missions for Arkansas Baptists.
Missionize with the Missions Guys offers biblical and practical insight and strategies designed to help equip and encourage missions leaders to carry on missions work.
The podcast is hosted by ABSC Missions Team Leader Sam Roberts and Community Missions Strategist Clint Ritchie – the missions guys.
In their first episode, available here, the duo outlined the purpose and vision for the new missions podcast and discussed the “why?” of missions. They also shared about upcoming missions opportunities for Arkansas Baptist churches.
“We want this to be a tool to help you carry on your missions work,” Ritchie said in the episode. “We’re going to be biblical. We’re unapologetic that scripture is our starting point for missions and is a starting point for these discussions. We’re going to be practical. We’re going to draw from our own experiences as well as experiences from others.”
Roberts and Ritchie, who have a combined more than 50 years of experience in pastoral ministry, plan to drop a 20-to-30-minute episode every two weeks. The next episode will go live Jan. 17.

Great! Praying for lives to be changed and encouraged and souls to be saved through this ministry.
Hi Sam and Clint:
I listened to your podcast today. You all did a great job and provided some real encouragement as well as practical ideas for helping our churches do a better job of reaching our communities. Congratulations upon what you are doing.
