LITTLE ROCK, Ark.– Lead Defend is just around the corner.
Lead Defend is a leadership and apologetics conference for high school and college students and young adults of Arkansas, while Foundations is aimed at students in grades 6-9. The goal each year is to equip attendees to understand how the Bible addresses certain issues at the forefront of culture.
From the main stage and in the breakouts, all involved are given a biblical worldview on difficult and hot topics. The conference can help students wrestling with their own beliefs and doubts find answers and help solidify their commitment to Christ and a biblical worldview.
“We are so excited about Lead Defend because it’s not just an opportunity for students to grow in their faith, but also to meet and network with peers from all across the state. Sometimes all we need as we pursue Christ is the knowledge that we are not alone,” Arkansas Baptist State Convention College + Young Leader Assistant Team Lead Chris Larmoyeux said.
A Cooperative Program ministry of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, the event features nationally known guest speakers, such as Brett and Erin Kunkle, Brent Crowe, and Kolby King, along with breakout sessions led by a variety of ministry leaders from Arkansas.
March 2 is going to be a jam-packed Saturday. The conference will kick off at 10 a.m. and conclude around 5 p.m.
