And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2

Camp Siloam is a place where people are SAVED, DISCIPLED, AND CALLED IN JESUS CHRIST. The people of Camp Siloam—the campers, families of the campers, church leaders, associational leaders, state leaders, donors, staff, and trustees must be in God’s will! The desire for these people should be the perfect will of God. God’s will is for people to be saved, discipled, and to understand His calling upon their lives. Please pray that the perfect will of God is done at Camp Siloam.

Camp Siloam’s trustees met October 17, 2024, at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention Building. The meeting was filled with information, recommendations, and unity. The Camp Siloam trustees and staff renewed their minds concerning vision and strategy for the camp.

One of the biggest decisions was a unanimous vote to change the Centennial Campaign from building a lake to raise money for and build a retreat center. This building would enable Camp Siloam to be a place where people can experience salvation, discipleship, and a call to the Gospel ministry year-round through all the seasons of the year. Camp Siloam people, please pray that God will provide the money for the building and the people for the ministry. These are exciting days for all Christian people, especially those on the front lines of the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Camp Siloam’s desire to be in God’s will is not only a prayer but it will be the power that will lead the camp into the future. This is true not only for the people of the camp but for all the people that trust Jesus Christ to be their personal Lord and Savior. God’s will is best learned by listening to Him and the leaders He has placed around you. Leaders, lets lead from God. God’s will, not man’s will, is the only hope for the church, the Convention and for places like Camp Siloam. Time does not allow for God’s people to argue and fight over the good or the acceptable, God’s people must have a purpose, vision, and strategy to get to the perfect will of God. Salvation, discipleship, and a call from God to God is worth praying over. “God, please empower your people to be in your perfect will.
