BENTON, Ark. – More than 200 students gathered at First Baptist Church in Benton Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 for PraizFest 2025.
Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) Worship Consultant Jim Daniel described it as a “great weekend of worship and equipping.”
The annual event is one of many equipping tools used by the worship ministry of the ABSC in equipping the next generation of worshippers and worship leaders. This event is made possible in part by the Cooperative Program giving of Arkansas Baptists.

“PraizFest was our student worship weekend where Arkansas Baptist churches brought over 200 students from across the state to be taught and led by Rhon Carter, the music and worship catalyst for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board,” Daniel said.
Carter encouraged the students in their relationship with Christ as he spoke and then continued to equip them in ways to use the choir as a tool to offer praise to Jesus and proclaim the Gospel to the lost.
The students were given the opportunity to choose from nine different worship equipping breakouts, such as AV/Tech, orchestra, worship choir and more, each led by a gifted Arkansas Baptist worship leader.
PraizFest culminated with a performance by the students.
“Thank you for allowing us to invest in your students through PraizFest 2025,” Daniel said. “Please join us as we pray for the demonstration of fruit as these students implement their learning through the ministries of their local churches.”
