LITTLE ROCK – To address the growing needs of digital readers, the Arkansas Baptist News (ABN) has launched an all-new online presence.
“It amazes me how much the delivery of digital content has grown in the nine years I have served as editor,” said Tim Yarbrough, ABN editor/executive director.
“We have gone from very little regular traffic to tens of thousands of people visiting our site every month,” Yarbrough said.
“Our new website is designed to meet the needs of readers who access the ABN news service via the Web. It has been greatly simplified and is now more mobile-friendly than ever. It looks great on a desktop or mobile platform.”
Yarbrough said visitors to arkansasbaptist.org may read the latest news, access archives of past editions, place a classified ad, subscribe to ABN’s print or digital edition and listen to the ABN Podcast in addition to many other activities.
“It’s also easier than ever to sign up for free website updates via a strip located at the bottom of the home page. By signing up, readers will get breaking news alerts and receive ABN Link, our free newsletter,” he said.
“One of the things I like most about the new website is the ease of use in accessing past editions of the ABN – whether historic archives or editions as recent as what has been published this year,” he said.
Yarbrough encouraged website readers to send ABN staff members story ideas and information about happenings around the state by visiting arkansasbaptist.org/submit-story-idea.
