We joyfully concluded an incredible week of JoyWorks and PraiseWorks camp on Friday, July 18, 2025. This year, over 900 campers—from 3rd grade through 12th grade—joined us, along with sponsors from churches across our state. The camp has become widely recognized as a premier equipping and leadership development experience for worshippers and worship leaders alike.
Campers had the unique opportunity to choose from more than 40 specialized tracks, all led by experts in various areas of worship leading and support. The week was filled with powerful worship sessions and Bible study, led by a worship team composed of members from several Arkansas Baptist Churches. Our camp pastor, Bill Newton—NextGen and Discipleship Specialist with our Convention—delivered inspiring preaching that helped guide the campers deeper in their faith and calling.
We are thrilled to share that several students surrendered to ministry during the week, with over 40 students registering through the Explore Your Call Ministry. It is truly a privilege to partner with Arkansas Baptist Churches as they continue to invest in equipping these young leaders.
Please join us in praying that the Lord will bring abundant fruit from this transformative week, and that He will continue to prepare many students for lives of biblical worship and leadership in their local churches.
