Men enjoy a great meal and fellowship with others at 2025 What’s at Steak event. (Submitted)

Men from across Central Arkansas are invited to gather for an evening of worship, fellowship, and great food at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Jacksonville Community Center, located at 5 Municipal Dr., in Jacksonville.

The event will feature live music from chart-topping bluegrass gospel group Chosen Road and a message from Dr. Jeff Iorg, president of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee.

Chosen Road is known for blending the rich sounds of Appalachian bluegrass with modern worship, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Iorg will offer an encouraging word for men at every stage of faith—whether longtime believers, newer church members, or those simply curious about the gospel.

In addition to worship, attendees will enjoy a steak dinner featuring a 16-ounce dry-aged steak from David’s Burgers Butcher Shop, along with sides, Texas Roadhouse rolls, and desserts. Tickets are $25 per person. Men can also choose to enter a steak-eating contest for $50, with a YETI cooler awarded to the winner. Door prizes will be given throughout the evening.

The event is open to men of all ages and is hosted by Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville, in partnership with the North Pulaski Baptist Association. Register at JaxSBC.org/events.
