Overview: The Red River Baptist Association is seeking a relational, mission-minded Associational Missionary to serve and strengthen our churches, pastors, and ministry leaders. This role focuses on encouragement, connection, resourcing, and cooperative mission across the association.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve and support pastors and church leaders through encouragement, consultation, and presence
- Strengthen relationships among churches and facilitate cooperative ministry
- Assist churches with leadership development, conflict navigation, and ministry transitions
- Represent the association in partnerships with state and denominational entities
- Help identify needs and connect churches with appropriate resources
- Participate in associational meetings, events, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- Clear Christian testimony and calling to ministry
- Experience in pastoral, associational, or related ministry leadership
- Ability to relate well to pastors and churches of varying sizes and contexts
- Strong communication, organizational, and relational skills
- Alignment with the Baptist faith (BF&M 2000) and cooperative mission
