Part-Time Children’s Minister Position
Piney Baptist Church – Hot Springs, AR
Piney Baptist Church, a welcoming and Christ-centered congregation averaging 80-90 in worship, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Children’s Minister to lead and grow our children’s ministry. Located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, our church is committed to nurturing the faith of our children and integrating them into the broader life of our church family.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and Coordinate Children’s Programs: Oversee and facilitate engaging, Christ-focused programs for children on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday nights.
- Build Relationships: Develop meaningful connections with children and their families, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.
- Integrate Ministry: Collaborate with church leadership to incorporate the children’s ministry into the overall mission and activities of Piney Baptist Church.
- Plan and Execute Activities: Organize age-appropriate events, and activities that promote spiritual development and relationships.
- Support Church Vision: Work alongside pastor, staff, and volunteers to align the children’s ministry with the church’s vision and values.
Qualifications:
- A committed and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Passion for ministering to children and their families.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to plan and execute programs effectively.
- Ability to connect with children, parents, and volunteers in a small church setting.
- Experience in children’s ministry or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a heart for discipleship.
Schedule and Commitment:
- Part-time position.
- Availability required for Sunday morning, and Sunday evening, Wednesday night activities, and monthly Parent’s Night Out with additional time for planning and relationship-building.
