Arkansas Valley Baptist Association, comprised of churches in Phillips, Lee and Monroe Counties in the Arkansas Delta is seeking God’s man to serve as their next Associational Missionary. AVBA’s physical office is located in West Helena, with the position being part-time on-site. Applicant must be a born-again believer; must completely affirm to the Baptist Faith and Message, 2000; must be an active member in good standing of a church within AVBA (or be willing to join a church in AVBA upon being hired); must demonstrate consistent Christian ethics and character; must lead himself and his family well; must demonstrate leadership and administration capabilities; and he must successfully pass a criminal background check before beginning employment. He must be skilled in developing a budget, managing a small office, competent in operating office machines including computers, and computer software, skilled in balancing a work load bi-vocationally and a heart to share the love of Jesus. He must be relational and have ministry experience pastoring a church.
