Adams was 17-years old when she unexpectedly discovered she was pregnant. The same week she got a positive pregnancy test was the same week she received her college acceptance letter.
So, what does it mean to live as a righteous person? What does it mean – according to Psalm 1 – to pursue God?
From giving $883 as a church for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering in 2011 to giving $18,684 for the 2020 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Hebron Baptist Church (HBC) of Little Rock has grown in financial generosity over the years.
In 1971, one family left all of their comfort, all of their family, all of their “normal” to serve as missionaries.
As a young adult, I want to encourage those in generations above me: my generation longs for mentorship. We might not initially see the need for discipleship, but young people desire to be encouraged and trained by older people in the faith.
“Mrs. Louise,” as the students call her, is 96-years old. Despite her age, she continues to serve in the youth group with joy, eagerness and passion.
Our church members will step up to the plate and do things that challenge them and stretch them because they love Jesus.
