The 169th annual meeting of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention will take place on Oct. 25-26 at First Baptist Church, 2350 Central Avenue, Hot Springs. The theme for this year’s annual meeting is “The Heart of a Servant.”
“We’re pleased with what the Lord has been doing through us,” Martin said. “It’s nothing more than using sports as a stage to draw kids in so they can hear the Gospel—it’s that simple.”
Will McKay, who has served as the team leader for the Evangelism and Church Health team (ECH) of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) for the past two years, has been called to serve as pastor at First Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.
