The Supreme Court decision handed down today to overturn Roe v. Wade is significant. It affirms a stance that we hold dear, that all human life is precious and valued and deserves protection, including the unborn. We are thankful to God for this decision that has been prayed about for almost 50 years. However, the actions of the Supreme Court today are not an end, but a beginning to the important work of Arkansas Baptists to act and demonstrate love and grace. Now is the time to respond with Gospel-centered compassion for vulnerable children and women with unexpected pregnancies. Church-based foster care, adoption, advocacy, and counseling resources are available through Arkansas Baptist Children and Family Ministries. Working together, we can offer hope through real solutions for your community.
Because of your faithful and sacrificial cooperative missions support, we are positioned to be the hands and feet of Jesus for such a time as this all across Arkansas!
As your church gathers this Sunday, consider praying for:
-Arkansas Baptists to extend compassion and care to those in crisis.
-State lawmakers as they consider important future legislation related to abortion.
-Spiritual awakening and revival that is desperately needed across our culture.
