LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Ethan Dial, 23, is the new digital media manager for the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC).
“It’s an honor to have someone like Ethan with tremendous talent and passion for their work on the communications team,” Nick Burt, Assistant Director of Communications, said.
“I interned with the ABSC back in 2018 and really enjoyed that time, so it’s always been in the back of my mind to work here,” Dial said. “I originally was at a news station, and I realized that while this was a dream of mine in the past, it was not what the Lord had intended for me for the rest of my life. It was a wonderful experience, but when I heard this position was still available, I reached out.”
“Ethan has already made a big impact on our team. Not only is he a great team player but he is also helping us make significant strides in increasing our digital presence for the ABSC,” Burt said.
“I have a lot of experience in editing and writing that can be an asset you don’t typically see in somebody who focuses on social media,” Dial said. “I have a creative mind and am creative at heart, but writing is definitely my strong suit, so I think working with the messaging of the convention will be my greatest strength to the team.”
Born in Jonesboro, Dial is the son of Jeff Dial, Pastor at Life Line Baptist Church in Little Rock. He is a 2020 graduate from Ouachita Baptist University, where he majored in Communications and Media with an emphasis in Multimedia Journalism and minored in Political Science and Studio Art. Dial has a passion and love for church and worship music and has played the violin since he was six years old.
