Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief teams aid in aftermath of storms

Multiple Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief (ABDR) chainsaw units were deployed this week in Faulkner and Poinsett counties following wind damage from the severe weather on Sunday, June 25.

Chainsaw teams working in Faulkner County include the Faulkner Baptist Association, Balboa Baptist Church, Cross Church, and First Baptist Clarksville

The Central Baptist Church, Corner’s Chapel Baptist Church and Tri-County Baptist Association chainsaw teams are working in Poinsett County.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock reported widespread damage across Arkansas from winds that ranged between 60 and 80 mph throughout the state, downing trees and powerlines. Several areas also saw large hail.

Please continue to pray for those impacted as they navigate the days ahead and all Disaster Relief volunteers.
