Arkansas Baptist State Convention and Arkansas Baptist News attend Baptist Communicators Association Conference, win awards 

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) Communications Team and Arkansas Baptist News (ABN) traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana last week to attend the 58th annual Baptist Communicators Association Conference. It was the first year they’d been able to meet in person since the COVID-19 pandemic began. 

With the theme of ‘Equipping the Saints’ from Ephesians 4:12, communicators from state conventions, Baptist entities and universities gathered on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to hear from keynote speakers like Ted Jackson and Sally Ann Roberts. Breakout sessions ranging from photography, cartoons, spiritual health and more were offered throughout the four-day event.  

On Wednesday, April 27 the 58th Wilmer C. Fields Awards were handed out at Ralph’s on the Park in New Orleans. The ABSC Communications Team and the ABN brought home 10 awards. They are listed below:
