At the end of July, we shared an article about ways that Arkansas Baptists were adapting to creating ministry opportunities for children amidst the pandemic. One of those was a church in Trumann that partnered with Fellowship Baptist in Huntington to conduct a sports camp.
Just 42 miles southwest of Pine Bluff down Highway 79, in southeastern Dallas county, sits the small town of Fordyce, Arkansas.
For about three years now, Fellowship Baptist Church of Huntington has worked with First Baptist Church (FBC) of Dardanelle to host a local sports camp.
In May, we reported that Marmaduke First Baptist Church had begun to do drive-thru meals on Wednesday nights and had already served over 1,200 meals at the time. The number of meals served exceeded the population of the town. As of October 7, the church has now been able to serve 6,044 meals to their community.
Cross Church in Northwest Arkansas announced some exciting things over the last several weeks including their 10-year vision for all four of their campuses, as well as increasing their amount of giving through the Cooperative Program.
