The David Bond “Heart of a Servant” Scholarship was established by the Arkansas Baptist Foundation to honor the life and ministry of David Bond. The scholarship is specifically for students pursuing a degree in music education or Christian studies at Ouachita Baptist University who plan to serve in vocational ministry. Preference will be given to students who are members of one of the churches where David served.
“David was not only a dear friend but also our liaison and primary contact for convention scholarships. We hope this scholarship provides us an opportunity to honor and educate the next generation about the life and legacy of David Bond,” said Bobby Thomas, President of the Arkansas Baptist Foundation.
