JACKSONVILLE, AR – Hey men! Get your tickets now for What’s at Steak? Men’s worship night on Saturday, March 1, at Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville.
We are excited to announce that two-time Southern Baptist Convention President Bart Barber, who is also senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Farmersville, Texas, will return as this year’s featured speaker. Jonathan Shaw, associate pastor of worship at Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville, will lead worship along with the church’s band.
The meal includes a 16 oz. dry aged steak from the butcher shop at David’s Burgers along with sides, Texas Roadhouse rolls and dessert. Register by Feb. 20 for the early bird price of $20 per person. Afterward, the price is $25 each. To register, go to JaxSBC.org/events and choose between two dinner options at 4:30 pm and 6 pm.
The event, now in its third year, is geared specifically for men, says Dr. David O’Dell, pastor of Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville.
“You’ll not only enjoy a mouth-watering 16 oz. steak but also experience powerful worship and a Biblical challenge designed to strengthen your walk with the Lord. Guys, this is a great opportunity to bring your lost friends for not only a great meal, but more importantly, to hear the gospel of Christ.”
This year, guys can get in on our fun steak eating contest for the chance to win a Yeti cooler. The first man to eat a 32 oz. steak, vegetables, roll and dessert will win! Sign up to participate for only $40 each. This event will take place during the 6 pm meal and is limited to 10 men. In addition, we will also have some amazing door prizes!
We are proud to partner with the North Pulaski Baptist Association for this event. Seating is limited so register today at JaxSBC.org/events.
