LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Madison Burch recently joined the News and Communications team of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention as the Communications Production Assistant.
Burch is a recent graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Ministry and a minor in English/Writing. This summer, she started her Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While she’s spent the last 3-years in Arkadelphia, Burch is originally from Benton, Louisiana.
“Before graduating, I hadn’t pictured myself in a communications role, since women’s ministry is my real passion. I’ve loved having this opportunity to serve in several different ministries through the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. It’s been great to connect with various church leaders and members through the work of the ABSC,” Burch shared.
On the side, Madison created and runs The Edifying Effect. It’s a young women’s ministry designed to encourage and equip young women to grow in their faith. Since her freshman year of college, she has actively shared her heart for Christ with other young women here, while also providing free resources and events to help engage women with the Bible.
In September, Burch will tie the knot with Kord Offenbacker, Pastoral Assistant at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.
