Patrick Henry named ABSC Chief Financial Officer

LITTLE ROCK – Patrick Henry has been named the chief financial officer of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) effective Oct. 16.

The ABSC Executive Board approved the recommendation during its Tuesday, Oct. 8, meeting.

“We are blessed to have Patrick Henry help lead our work as CFO of the ABSC. Patrick is known for his servant leadership, wisdom and ability to get things done. We are grateful for his years serving through the Arkansas Baptist Foundation and know this experience will benefit Arkansas Baptists and our ministries,” ABSC Executive Director Rex Horne said.

Henry has been in full-time vocational ministry for over 20 years. He has served churches in Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Most recently, Henry has served as vice president of Ministry Services for the Arkansas Baptist Foundation (ABF).

“I have confidence that Patrick will serve the convention well in this new role. His time with us as well as his experience in the local church will be of great service to the Convention and our state.  Our staff is looking forward to continuing to work with Patrick in his new role,” said ABF President/CEO Bobby Thomas.

Henry said he is thrilled to join the convention staff as the chief financial officer.

“With a deep commitment to stewardship and accountability, I look forward to ensuring our resources are used efficiently to further our mission,” Henry said. “The opportunity to serve in this capacity is both humbling and energizing. I’m excited about what lies ahead. Together, we can continue to grow and strengthen the Convention’s financial health, ultimately supporting our ministry efforts more effectively.”
