ROGERS, Ark. – Send Network Arkansas hosted its first Sending Church Lab on Oct. 2 at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) Northwest Arkansas Ministry Center in Rogers.

ABSC Northwest Arkansas Lead Strategist Tim Wicker said there were eight churches from Northwest Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma involved in the event – which was a partnership between Send Network Arkansas and Send Network Oklahoma. The lab was led by Wicker and Rusty Gunn and Joey Dean of Send Network Oklahoma.

Wicker said the Send Network Sending Church Lab is a one-day workshop that helps churches develop a vision and plan for becoming more engaged in the process of church planting.

Additionally, he said it is a collaborative experience that connects church leaders with others on the same journey, while helping them to identify their next steps for discovering, developing, and deploying church planters and church planting teams to plant new churches here and beyond.
