“It’s just a God thing,” Friendship Baptist Church Senior Pastor Sean Mills said regarding the recent growth experienced at the Conway church.
Arkansas Baptist churches reported a 15% increase in baptisms last year with the overall total reaching 6,233, up from 5,411 the previous year.
The only demolition, however, came to perceptions about evangelism and discipleship – spiritual strongholds that whispered a tiny church in a county of less than 20,000 people couldn’t make a difference. The key tool was prayer. The first call, however, went to a plumber.
