A group of Arkansas Baptist church planters recently spent time in Alpharetta, Georgia, fellowshipping, learning from leading church planting practitioners and worshiping together during the North American Mission Board’s Send Network Orientation.

This has already proven to be a great pool for potential candidates for our Church Planting Residency Program as we seek to enter new fields, evangelize, make disciples, plant healthy multiplying churches, develop leaders, and partner together in the advance of the Gospel.

A new partnership between the Arkansas Baptist State Convention (ABSC) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) will provide additional resources to start churches in high need areas throughout Arkansas.

Fifty church planters and leaders from Arkansas Baptist churches gathered at Camp Paron for two days in August for the Hispanic Church Planting Retreat to renew strength, be inspired, and fellowship with others in the ministry.

When you give to your church, you give to missions through the Cooperative Program, bringing the Good News to the whole world.

The Gospel is still the power of God for salvation.

“One minute you think you’ve seen it all, then God does something to reassure you that He is at work, and you just get to join Him in it.”
