EL DORADO – Union Baptist Church, El Dorado, recently welcomed Matthew Wilson as their new pastor. He and his wife, Bethany Wilson, and their four children were previously living in Imboden.
Wilson graduated from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville with a major in business education and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) in Fort Worth, Texas, with a Master of Divinity. Both Wilson and his wife received a Biblical Counseling Certification from the Biblical Counseling Institute. He was ordained at First Baptist Church, Russellville, in 2014.
Wilson’s desire for Union Baptist Church is that the church will help fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission by sharing the gospel and discipling men and women to spiritual maturity in Christ.
