“Jesus Changes Everything” is the theme for the noon–1:30 p.m. luncheon, billed as an inspirational time for wives of ministers attending the SBC annual meeting to fellowship and worship together.

Featured presenter Capps is a national Proverbs 31 speaker, a writer for the new First 5 Bible app and released her first book, “Sick of Me,” in March, 2019, with the accompanying video curriculum, “We Over Me.”

Event organizer LifeWay Christian Resources of the SBC describes Capps as “a communicator at heart” and “Bible study geek” who delights in delivering “profound yet practical truth” from God’s Word.

Registration, $20, is available toll-free at 800-254-2022, online at registration.lifeway.com, by faxing your name and contact information to 615-251-3730, or by mailing the same to SBC Ministers’ Wives Luncheon, One LifeWay Plaza, Nashville, TN 37202. Table reservations, 10 seats, are available for $200, and registrants may volunteer to serve as table hosts.

Registrants may also submit nominations through April 1 for the Willie Turner Dawson Award, which recognizes an outstanding ministry wife who, according to the nomination form, “has made a distinct denominational contribution beyond service in the local church.”

The luncheon is in conjunction with the SBC 2020 Annual Meeting June 9 -10 in Orlando, themed “Gospel Above All. Always.”
