Cross Country Competes at Chile Pepper Festival 

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday afternoon. The women ran a 5k race, while the men ran an 8k.

Stephens Defeats Lady Eagles 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Williams volleyball team dropped to 0-2 in conference play after falling to Stephens in straight sets on Saturday afternoon.

Lady Eagles Defeat Trojans 2-1 

HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Williams women’s soccer team defeated the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans 2-1 on Saturday afternoon to move to 3-4 on the year and 1-1 in conference play.

Lightning Shortened Game Ends in Tie With Trojans 

HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Williams men’s soccer team tied 2-2 with the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans in a game that was shortened by lightning.

Cazeca Named AMC Offensive Player of the Week 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced on Monday that Thayrone Cazeca has been selected as the AMC Men’s Offensive Soccer Player of the Week.

Lady Eagles Fall to Blue Mountain 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Williams volleyball team lost to the Blue Mountain Toppers in straight sets on Tuesday night.

CROSS COUNTRY SWEEPS TIGER INVITATIONAL 

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas – The Ouachita Baptist University men’s and women’s cross country teams both came away with victories at the Tiger Invitational on a rainy Friday afternoon.

LATE GOAL LIFTS OUACHITA TO 6TH STRAIGHT WIN 

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma – The Ouachita Baptist University women’s soccer team recorded its sixth consecutive victory and remained undefeated in Great American Conference play with a 1-0 road win over Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday.

BOONE, EBON LEAD TIGERS TO FIRST WIN 

WICHITA, Kansas – Sophomore Bobby Boone scored two goals, including the game-winner on a penalty kick, and Jordan Ebon had one goal and two assists to give the Ouachita Baptist University men’s soccer team its first victory of the season, a 4-3 road win over Newman on Saturday afternoon.

OUACHITA OVERPOWERS RANGERS ON HOMECOMING 

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas – The 19th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University football team averaged nearly 10 yards per offensive play in route to a 64-17 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State at home on Saturday for Homecoming.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – After a weekend of competition at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Championships, the Ouachita Baptist University men’s tennis team will be sending two players off to the ITA Cup later this month.

EDWARDS RUSHES TO GAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK 

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Freshman running back Isaac Edwards has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week after aiding the Ouachita Baptist University football team to a 64-17 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State this past Saturday.

OUACHITA UP TO NO. 12 IN FOOTBALL RANKINGS 

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas – Following a dominant performance on Homecoming, the Ouachita Baptist University football team moved up to No. 12 this week in both of the major NCAA Division II football polls.

OUACHITA MAKES QUICK WORK OF CBC 

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas – The Ouachita Baptist University volleyball team posted a season-high hitting percentage in route to a 3-0 victory over Central Baptist College at home on Monday. Final game scores were 25-11, 25-15, and 25-7.

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Ouachita Baptist University juniors Gracen Turner and Ashlyn Lynch have been selected as Great American Conference women’s soccer players of the week.

OUACHITA PICKED 8TH IN GAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PRESEASON POLL 

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – On Thursday, the Great American Conference announced the results of its 2021-22 GAC women’s basketball preseason coaches’ poll.  Southwestern Oklahoma State received five first-place votes to sit atop the ranking.

OUACHITA MEN’S BASKETBALL COMES IN 8TH IN GAC PRESEASON POLL 

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – On Thursday, the Great American Conference announced the results of its 2021-22 GAC men’s basketball preseason coaches’ poll. Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Arkansas each received six first-place votes but the Bison finished one point ahead of the Muleriders to claim the top spot.
