BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Williams wrestling team defeated both Lyon and Oklahoma Wesleyan at the Lyon College Tri-Dual on Wednesday afternoon.

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Williams women’s basketball team fell to the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions 107-74 on Friday afternoon.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the members of the 2021 AMC Men’s Soccer All-Conference team, as well as the season awards.

Lady Eagles Drop Tough Battle With Phoenix 

HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lady Eagles dropped a tough, tight battle with the Cumberland Phoenix 87-79 on Saturday afternoon at the Christian College Classic hosted by Freed-Hardeman University.

Eagles Swim Great Times at Principia Quad Meet 

ELSAH, Ill. – The WBU Eagles had a record breaking performance in Elsah, IL breaking 13 records and for some reclaimed their first in the nation status.

Lady Eagles Break Multiple Records at Principia Quad Meet 

ELSAH, Ill. – The WBU Lady Eagles had a record breaking performance in Elsa, IL breaking 10 records.

Eagles Competed at Viking Open in Oklahoma 

POTEAU, Okla. – The Williams wrestling team traveled to Oklahoma to compete in the Viking Open, a tournament that featured 21 teams from all different levels of competition.

Perovic Tabbed AMC Wrestler of the Week 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Nikolas Perovic from Williams Baptist University (Ark.) was named the American Midwest Conference Wrestler of the Week on Monday after a second-place finish at the Viking Open over the weekend.

Guerrero Named to AMC All-Conference Honorable Mention 

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has released the members of the 2021 AMC Volleyball All-Conference team and season award winners.

Eagles Defeat Mustangs on Senior Night 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Williams wrestling team defeated the Central Baptist Mustangs by a team score of 47-10 on Tuesday night.

Eagles Take Down Pioneers 97-67 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Williams men’s basketball team defeated the Crowley’s Ridge Pioneers 97-67 on Thursday night behind a double-double from Shackeel Butters. With the win, the Eagles are 4-0 on the season.

KALINIC LEADS TIGERS IN LOSS TO HUSKIES 

ST. CLOUD, Minnesota – The Ouachita Baptist University opened the 2021-22 season on Friday with an 84-71 loss to St. Cloud State in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference/Great American Conference Crossover Challenge.

OUACHITA DROPS CLOSE ONE TO NO. 9 UPPER IOWA 

LACROSSE, Wisconsin – The Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team faced nationally-ranked No. 9 Upper Iowa on Friday night in the Battle on the Bluffs with the Peacocks coming away with a 23-15 win.

HOMETOWN HERO: GOODMAN LIFTS OUACHITA TO 5TH STRAIGHT BATTLE OF THE RAVINE WIN 

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas – Sophomore Gabe Goodman gave his hometown crowd much to cheer about after his career-long 53-yard field goal helped the Ouachita Baptist University football team beat Henderson State 31-28 in front of a packed stadium at the 94th Battle of the Ravine on Saturday at Cliff Harris Stadium.

STREET LEADS OUACHITA IN LOSS TO MINOT STATE 

ST. CLOUD, Minnesota – Junior Jacob Street had a career-high 17 points to lead the Ouachita Baptist University men’s basketball team in an 87-55 loss to Minot State on Saturday on the final day of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference/Great American Conference Crossover Challenge.

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Ouachita Baptist University sophomore football player Gabe Goodman has been named the Great American Conference Special Teams Player of the Week after helping the Tigers win their fifth consecutive Battle of the Ravine.
