Here are recent updates from “around the state.”
- Jody Gannaway retired as pastor at Arkansas City Baptist Church on January 30, 2022. He was ordained at that same church in February of 1958.
- Alan Brown celebrated 10 years as pastor at Freeman Heights Baptist Church on February 6. Patty Orrell celebrated 20 years of service as the financial secretary at Freeman Heights.
- Stuart Springer is now the contemporary worship leader at Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village.
- Tagel Muqtasid, a ministry assistant with the Church Planting Team of the ABSC, has accepted a position as a program director with Apartment Life. She and her husband serve as church planters at New Generations Church in Maumelle.
