Lee and Thompson competed in the High School Division and Youth Division respectively.
The National Invitational Tournament for Bible Drill & Speakers’ Tournament is a cooperative effort of the discipleship leaders in affiliated state conventions. The competition is open to the winner of each state’s Youth Bible Drill, High School Bible Drill, and Youth Speakers’ Tournament.
Lee and Thompson competed against nine participants from other states. Lee placed 2nd in the High School Division.
Arkansas Baptist State Convention Children’s Specialist Emily Smith accompanied the two competitors to the national competition.
“Aubrey and Aaden represented Arkansas so well. It’s always encouraging watching our Arkansas participants navigate the pressure of the competition with ease. Both of our participants stepped forward on every call and stated their calls with clarity and accuracy. I was so proud of their performance and attitude throughout the Competition,” Smith said.
