“Big weather events like the 2009 ice storm, the Marmaduke tornado, and most recently… the Jonesboro tornado. Also, 9/11. Events like these have had a huge impact on me not just professionally but personally. When 9/11 happened, I was sent to Batesville to cover the death of one of the flight attendants. I can remember not really being able to process everything that happened that day until I got home and hugged my wife. The busyness of the day bottled up my emotions until I got home.”
