Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief and other agencies continue to clean up after Hurricane Ida, which made landfall at the end of August. Teams have continued to rotate through. Arkansas Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) have sent several teams of students down for weekend clean-up efforts.
Since teams first arrived on September 2nd, they have successfully completed 124 jobs with more to come. We have been able to distribute 123 Bibles and have continued to share the Gospel to those that have been affected.
Continue to pray for the Louisiana and Mississippi Disaster Relief leadership as they continue to coordinate with other states to provide for survivors
Continue to pray for the survivors as they begin the process of rebuilding, and that God would open the hearts of those who need to hear the Gospel and provide comfort amid turmoil.
Continue to pray that DR and BCM volunteers would be spiritually prepared for ministry opportunities and to minister to survivors.
Continue to pray for the travel of all volunteers as they travel to help and minister to survivors.
