Lynn Loyd served as the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) Campus Minister at the University of Arkansas from 1984 to 2011. For the last ten years, he has served as a missions consultant for the College + Young Leaders Team of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. Now, he is returning to serve at the University of Arkansas where he will begin work as the Alumni Relations Director for the University of Arkansas BCM in Fayetteville.
Loyd is nationally known for his lifetime of ministry on college campuses. He is currently the longest serving employee with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, having been originally hired in 1980 to serve as Campus Minister at Southern Arkansas University. He will begin his new role on Jan. 1 where he will connect BCM alumni to the incredible work happening on campus today. From Fayetteville, Loyd will maintain state-wide responsibilities working with BCM ministry on community colleges.
