One gathering, multiple locations

For the past six years, Arkansas pastors and ministry staff have come together at the Statewide Prayer Gathering on the last Monday and Tuesday in August to unite in prayer for revival and awakening. This year will be no different. To say that this is an unusual year in ministry would be an understatement; however, as believers we know that God is not surprised by anything and that He is listening to our prayers!

The annual Prayer Gathering is met with great anticipation by pastors and ministry staff members as a time of renewal and inspiration. As speakers set the tone for each season of prayer, weeping can sometimes be heard as men are brought to the cross. Hands are lifted as praises are sung. Pastors, youth ministers, senior adult ministers and other ministers return with a fresh determination to share this experience with their congregations. This event has become one of three events each year that form a foundation on which relationships are built among Arkansas Baptists.

To adhere to Arkansas guidelines concerning social distancing and to alleviate any concerns about overnight travel, we will host the live gathering at the City Center at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock with limited seating and livestream to designated locations around the state.

Seating will be arranged to ensure social distancing, masks will be worn and pre-registration is required at each location. Registration opens on August 17th. Please register as soon as possible. Registration will close when capacity is reached and only those who have pre-registered will be admitted. Each person must register individually.

The program will remain the same as in previous years, with guided prayer times facilitated by ministry leaders from across the state. Worship segments will be led by Pete Lee and The Summit Church band.
