By Jim Daniel

Jim Daniel will serve as worship consultant with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention’s Evangelism+Church Health Team beginning in January, 2022.

It is an amazing opportunity to partner with the local churches in Arkansas through the Arkansas Baptist State Convention as we strive to equip and send the next generation of Christ followers. The Lord is doing a mighty work through the churches as we see individuals come to Christ through salvation and then be discipled through the ministries of the local church. I am looking forward to serving with you as we labor together.

Some of the most effective tools we have as Arkansas Baptists are our student camps and retreats. On Friday night and Saturday, January 28 and 29, 2022, we have the opportunity to pour into the lives of students in grades 6 through 12 through PraizFest, a student choir weekend. This weekend will be a great way for our Arkansas churches to kick off the new year of student choirs and worship discipleship.

Trent Blackley will be with us as our choir clinician. Trent will be a great encouragement to the students as they not only learn the songs and improve their choral skills but dig deep into the text of what they are singing as they worship together. I hope you will prayerfully consider bringing your students to this event. Whether you have one student or fifty, whether you have a student choir or not, your students will benefit from a weekend surrounded by other students from across our state as they lift their voices to God in praise.

The event will be held at First Baptist Church in Benton. For registration information, click here. We hope you will join us.
