As usual, Arkansas Baptists have a lot on their calendars to look forward to next year. Pray First To start the year off, Arkansas Baptists
Beginning my eighth decade of ministry, perhaps the following will encourage others to press on.
In 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Paul said “We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate the harvest and blessings of the past year. Several Arkansas Baptists use the national holiday as an opportunity to pour those blessings back into their communities.
Widows hold a deep place in the heart of God, and He loves and cares about them greatly.
“The international getaway retreat to me is a great way to get to know those who aren’t like you, who come from a different culture or maybe a different religion.”
A group of women from Beebe are embarking on a journey to start a Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC) site in White County.
About 2,800 chaplains – including about 1,100 who are Southern Baptist – serve in the Armed Forces.
