Women’s Soccer Releases 2021 Schedule 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – Head Coach Gabriel Sitibaldi releases his 2021 schedule for his squad, which includes eight home games for the Lady Eagles.  

Sitibaldi returns several leaders at their positions for his squad. Thaina Calvacante was an Honorable Mention All-Conference member last year and led the team with 3 assists. He also returns his two goal scorers from last year: Maryn Jones and Cierra Clayton. Clayton led the squad with goals, but didn’t play the second half of the season due to injury. Jones was also a top goal scorer and created many chances for the Lady Eagles. Danielle Barstead will also help lead the attack and her senior leadership will be relied on for the young squad. Finally, Abigail Reese leads the defense for the Lady Eagles.

Eagles Look to Build Off Successful Last Season in 2021 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Eagles soccer team looks to build off its successful 2020 season that saw the Eagles fall in the semifinals of the AMC Tournament, with its 2021 squad.  

The Eagles are returning their top goal scorers from last year in Gabriel Otero and Jacobo Obrador. Otero was named First-Team All-Conference last year after finishing with 13 goals and had 5 assists. Obrador was the AMC Freshman of the Year and led the conference in shots on goal to go along with his 13 goals and 3 assists.

Espinoza Named Soccer Assistant Coach 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – Jasmine Espinoza has been named as the new assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Williams Baptist University.

Golf Releases Fall Tournaments 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – Head Coach Zane Wright releases his fall schedule for the men’s and women’s golf teams.  

The Eagles open up the fall by hosting a tournament at the Kennett Country Club in Kennett, Mo. on Sept. 13-14. On Sept. 27-28, they travel to the Coopers Hawk Golf Course in Batesville, Ark. for the Lyon College Fall Invite.

Eagles Cross Country Releases Fall Slate 

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Williams Baptist University cross country teams will compete in six meets this fall across Arkansas and Missouri.  

The first meet will take the Eagles to the Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. on September 11 with the event starting at 8 a.m. The second meet of the season is on September 17 when the Eagles will travel to Searcy, Ark. to participate in the Harding University meet.

Eagles Soccer Picked 4th in AMC Preseason Poll 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Williams’ men’s soccer team has been picked in fourth place by the coaches in the AMC Preseason poll, behind Columbia, Missouri Baptist, and Lyon.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Williams Baptist University women’s soccer team was picked last in the AMC Coaches’ Preseason Poll.
